OUR STORY
“I founded Mountain Time Soap in an effort to remove harmful chemicals from my daily routine and simplify life. Not just for myself, but also to offer a simple solution for those around me”
Our story begins in Golden, CO at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. The natural beauty of the outdoors here is enough to inspire anybody to be more conscious about what they’re putting on their skin and the impacts that big business has on the environment. We live to play in the mountains and want others to enjoy them as much as we do for years to come.

Ingredients
We tend to use the saying “made from nature’” often when we’re describing the ingredients we use in our products. I think it’s because we noticed that the term “all- natural” is being very loosely in the industry and frankly, it can no longer be trusted. It is our mission to use only pure simple ingredients FROM NATURE, and we adhere to this guideline vehemently. Unlike big box soap, we use no lathering agents, no hardening agents, no fillers, and absolutely no artificial dyes or fragrance. Ingredients that we DO use is our soaps are: plant-based-skin-loving oils, natural clays and botanicals for color, and only pure essential oils for antimicrobial and aromatherapy properties. Personally, we read ingredients labels and we encourage our customers to do the same. You’ll most definitely find us standing on the soap-box about this issue!
Packaging
When it comes to our packaging, we have taken a minimalist approach. We want the quality of our product to be what you’re paying for, not the package it comes in. We also want our packaging to have as little environmental impact as possible. Because of this, we us only minimal, recyclable, and compostable packaging materials.
